No updates for a while, been doing some other stuff. Now I made a material for aluminium camera top covering and painted some scratches and dents on it. I also modified the baseboard leather material and the 3d model to get bigger bumps and dents…I still think it needs more wrinkles. Inside material of the baseboard is ready. Also aluminium covering needs some more diffuse variation and some dirtmaps / Ambien Occlusion maps. Painstaking process, but it´s going in the right direction. I made all the maps to 8000*8000 resolution, but was forced to downsize maps since got some memory issues with Vray. Now all the maps are at 6500 * 6500 pixels. Big textures makes it possible to render big resolution images and I´m planning to make one poster size print from the final rendering. 🙂
